Volunteers Needed For Armed Forces Day
Tue 28th September 2021
The Rangers Charity Foundation is looking for people to show their support for the Armed Forces by volunteering to collect donations from fans attending Rangers next home game on Sunday 3rd October.
The match against Hibernian FC is the annual Armed Forces Day at Ibrox with representatives from the Army, RAF and Royal Navy taking part in activities on the day.
A pre-match collection has been organised in aid of the Rangers Charity Foundation’s Armed Forces Partnership and the Foundation is looking for volunteers to shake buckets and ask fans attending to donate what they can.
The Armed Forces Partnership for Season 2021/22 is made up of three services related charities: The Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity, RAF Benevolent Fund and ABF The Soldiers’ Charity.
Volunteers need to be able to arrive at the Stadium by 1.30pm on Sunday, must already have a match day ticket and would be required to collect donations up until kick-off. Under 18s should be accompanied by an adult.
