True Blue Heroes Honoured

Thu 30th March 2023

Player and 2 True Blue heroes

The Rangers Charity Foundation has honoured fans whose dedication raised thousands of pounds for charity at two special receptions at Ibrox this week.

Every supporter who takes on a personal challenge in support of the Foundation and raises more than £150 is invited to Ibrox to receive a True Blue Hero Medal from a Rangers first team player and Rıdvan Yılmaz and John Souttar were delighted to attend the events and meet the latest supporters to have earned their medals.

Around 200 fans were honoured, who collectively raised over £60,000 from events such as the Big Ibrox Sleep Out, Blue All Over Fun Run and Sober For October.

“We are very grateful to everyone who raises funds on our behalf via a personal challenge,” commented Foundation Chief Executive Connal Cochrane,

“It’s really important for us to show our appreciation for their hard work and determination and also give our supporters an insight into the difference their contribution makes to the Foundation and to our charity partners.  Well done everyone!”
