Thank You True Blue Heroes!

Thu 12th September 2024

The Rangers Charity Foundation has honoured fans whose dedication raised thousands of pounds for charity at two special receptions at Ibrox this week.

Every supporter who takes on a personal challenge in support of the Foundation and raises more than £150 is invited to Ibrox to receive a True Blue Hero Medal from a Rangers first team player as a thank you for their effort and commitment.

The first reception of this season saw over 300 excited kids and their parents attend Edmiston House to receive their medals after taking part in the Foundation’s Broxi’s Challenge event for children at Ibrox last season.

Drinks and snacks, a special quiz game with prizes and of course the chance to meet Liam Kelly and Clinton Nsiala ensured a fun evening for all the young supporters.

Ross McCausland and Robbie Fraser attended the second event honouring those who had taken part in a variety of personal challenges such as Simply The West, walking from Larkhall to Ibrox and the Edinburgh Marathon.

Collectively our incredible True Blue Heroes honoured this week raised over £75,000, helping us continue to be a force for good in the local community and beyond.

“We are very grateful to everyone who raises funds on our behalf via a personal challenge or at one of our events,” commented Foundation Chief Executive Connal Cochrane.

“It’s really important for us to show our appreciation for their hard work and determination and also give our supporters an insight into the difference their contribution makes to the Foundation and to our charity partners.  Well done to all of our True Blue Heroes!”
