Rangers Charity Foundation recieves SCIO status

Thu 20th December 2018

The Rangers Charity Foundation will be converting its charitable status to that of a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO) from 1 January 2019.

The Rangers Charity Foundation was established in 2002, and whilst this change allows the charity to modernise its core governing document and legal status, our essential purpose, mission and drive to be a powerful force for good on behalf of the Rangers Family remains unchanged.

Rangers Charity Foundation Director, Connal Cochrane, said: “Becoming a SCIO is a natural step forward for us and we’re pleased to have our new status in place, after a robust application process.

“I believe that our updated status will enhance the Foundation’s ability to work with partners across a diverse range of community initiatives.

“We are still the same team with the same mission and passion to make a difference, so for our supporters and the thousands of people we work with, it will very much be business as usual.    I would like to thank everyone who has supported us during 2018 and send our warmest good wishes for 2019! ”

The Foundation’s new charity number is SC047681 (Rangers Charity Foundation SCIO).
