New Dates for Free Ibrox Fitness Course
Wed 28th August 2024
The Rangers Charity Foundation’s Football Fans in Training (FFIT) programme is returning for a new 12-week course in September.
The free course has achieved astounding results, with participants reporting dramatic improvements in their health, knowledge and motivation following the expert guidance provided over the course of the popular 12-week programme.
FFIT works with males and females aged between 35 and 65 years old who are overweight and provides a great opportunity for Rangers supporters to improve their fitness, lose weight and train with fellow supporters at Ibrox.
Each session is split between classroom health education and physical activity sessions and covers issues such as weight management, exercise, diet and healthy eating, alcohol awareness, motivation and well-being.
Previous participant Jackie said:
“There’s no pressure on the course and there were always alternatives. I could modify aspects to suit my own personal fitness level which was great.”
Please note that to qualify, you must be aged 35 – 65 and have one of the following:
- BMI 27 or over
- Belly size 100 cm or over
- Trouser size 37 inches or over
Last season’s 123 participants lost a combined 519kg in weight and 874cm from their waists.
The next block of FFIT commences on the below dates for men and women:
Women: 27th September – 6-8pm
Men: 24th September – 5-7pm
