Meet out new Community Hub Officers!

Mon 10th August 2020

We are today (10th August 2020) delighted to welcome two new recruits to the Rangers Charity Foundation team!

Ryan and Mark have both joined us as Community Hub Officers and will be based at Knightswood Secondary and Drumchapel High School respectively.

The pair will be working within their schools individually to help with attendance, attainment, post-school positive destinations and more.

The appointments expand our Hub in the Community initiative to three schools, as Scott continues his brilliant work at Govan High School, which became our first Hub in 2018.

The initiative delivers a wide variety of programmes and provides a constant, familiar point of contact for staff, pupils and their families. There is a strategic focus to support the schools in raising attainment, increase positive post school destinations, enhance transition links from primary to secondary school and create a universal impact in all areas and year groups within the school, to help expand the young people’s full potential through education.

Everyone at the Rangers Charity Foundation would like to congratulate Ryan and Mark on their new roles, and look forward to welcoming them in to the team.

We would also like to thank the Roberston Trust, who helped to kick-start the programme by co-funding our fist Hub in the Community at Govan High.
