Matchday Christmas Foodbank Collection

Wed 27th November 2024

The Foundation is supporting the local community in the run up to Christmas by holding a Foodbank collection outside the G51 sports bar (formally the old Rangers store) on the Stadium footprint before the match against Kilmarnock on Wednesday 4th December.

We will be collecting non-perishable items, tins, nappies, wipes, baby products, hygiene and sanitary products and Christmas items for the Glasgow South West Foodbank in Ibrox and the Riverside Primary School Govan Foodbank.

If you can help by donating a few items, please come along between 4.45pm and 7.45pm. Your support would be greatly appreciated.

Claire McCunnie from Glasgow South West Foodbank commented, “We are absolutely delighted to be one of the beneficiaries of the up and coming Foodbank collection along with Riverside Primary School.

“We are so grateful for the continued support from both the Rangers Charity Foundation and the fans who have always been fantastic and got behind each collection.”

“I would also urge anyone in need of support to please reach out to your local foodbank. We are here to help.”

If you are unable to attend the match but would like to help, we are also accepting cash donations by clicking here.

Thank you to Fans Supporting Foodbanks Scotland for their help with this collection.  For further information, contact the Foundation on 0141 580 8775 or by e-mail to rangerscharity@rangers.co.uk.
