Free Walking Football at Ibrox!

Thu 30th August 2018

The Foundation and Club 1872 have teamed up to offer supporters the opportunity to take part in a free weekly Walking Football session at the Ibrox Community Complex and Ibrox Stadium every Thursday night, starting on Thursday 6th September. Club 1872 is providing generous assistance which will fund our Walking Football programme for the coming year.  The Foundation delighted to be receiving this programme support and hopes that it will encourage a large number of supporters to get involved.

If you’re 50 or over and looking to improve your physical and/or mental health, then Walking Football is a great way to get more active and is open to all abilities.

Each session features an hour long Walking Football session at the Ibrox Community complex followed by the chance to socialise over a cup of tea or coffee in the Ibrox Community Hub within Ibrox Stadium.  There will also be information on healthy living provided from Rangers community coaches.

The sessions are open to anyone 50 or over and will run from 7-9pm every Thursday.  For more information and to register call 0141 580 8775 or email rangerscharity@rangers.co.uk.
