The Rangers Charity Foundation is delighted to share its Annual Review for season 2018/19 – which you can view from today!

The document celebrates the work which has been undertaken by the Foundation across six key pillars: employability, education, health and wellbeing, diversity and inclusion, our local community and champions for charity.

Over the course of the year, the Foundation delivered a diverse range of 26 community programmes to over 6,800 people – including six new initiatives. The Annual Review shares these via inspiring case studies, infographics and colourful imagery of participants and supporters.

3,223 people from around the UK got in touch with the Foundation last season, to ask for support for causes close to their hearts – 87% of which received a generous and positive response. Alongside this, 141 children, adults and families were supported by the Rangers Charity Dream Fund, which aims to bring smiles to the faces of those who are in need of a boost.

During last season, the Foundation also donated over £114,000 to local, national and international charities – a 10 year anniversary with UNICEF being a particular highlight!

Over 1,500 supporters took part in fundraising events, raising £238,993 in the process.

Director of the Rangers Charity Foundation, Connal Cochrane, commented: “The diversity and scale of the work undertaken by the Foundation, by what is a relatively small team, is remarkable and I believe is exemplified by our strategic approach, the skill and commitment of our staff and our wise use of resources.

“Firstly, I would like to thank the supporters, as well as applaud their enthusiasm and backing for what we do in their name. I also pay tribute to the trust and generosity of our many funders and partners.

“The Foundation is also grateful to the players, staff and board at Rangers Football Club for the vital part they play in helping us to thrive.

“It’s been an outstanding year for the Rangers Charity Foundation and I hope you enjoy reading about it in our Annual Review.”
