We’re delighted to report that Erskine residents have been enjoying some great days out thanks to their new mini bus bought with the support of the Rangers Charity Foundation.

The VW Transporter is used regularly to take residents to Rangers games at Ibrox and has been used over the last few months on various outings including trips to the Falkirk Wheel, Blair Drummond Safari Park and the local Country Club, where residents enjoy seeing the horses. 

The bus has been used regularly to take residents to doctors’ appointments and to take small groups for a drive and a nice pub lunch, which is always a favourite activity with the veterans. 

The new bus is smaller than Erskine’s larger 16 seater bus, which means no special licence or qualification is required to drive it.  This has made the bus a really flexible option for Erskine, with Activity Staff able to respond directly to requests from veterans.
