Benburb FC Show Racism The Red Card

Thu 16th December 2021

It was great to see so many kids, parents and coaches from local club Benburb FC take part in our Show Racism The Red Card event recently!

Our coaches delivered a short presentation to parents and coaches on the project and its importance.  They also made resources available to the club to allow them to deliver further education sessions to their young people.

Plus, of course, the teams enjoyed some football sessions with our coaches, which incorporated some of the key messages of the programme.

Jordan Boyd, the Rangers Charity Foundation’s Senior Community Executive, commented: “The event was a great success!  It’s fantastic to be able to showcase the work of the project and to get local clubs involved.

“Benburb are a great example of a local club who promote equality for all, so to be able to bring this event to them and help support their ongoing work in this area has been excellent.”
