The Club’s official charity helps bring smiles to the faces of those who are most in need of a boost, through its ‘Dream Fund’ initiative.

11 Dream Day nominees and their guests gathered at the Rangers Training Centre in the morning and had the chance to meet the Men’s First Team and Manager and enjoy an autograph session before being given exclusive access to watch training.

The group, who had all been nominated for this exclusive experience by family or friends, then enjoyed a special lunch at Ibrox and a stadium tour.

Josh, 16, who attended with his Dad Kevin, said:

“Today has been very surreal. Growing up a fan all my life, this is something everyone dreams of doing. I’ve met some of my favourite players and overall it has been fantastic”

Men’s First Team player, Jack Butland, commented:

“I think the Rangers Charity Foundation is hugely important. As players we are very privileged to do what we do but to have days like this and be able to put smiles on people’s faces who are going through really difficult times is an honour.”

The Foundation’s Dream Fund pays for special Rangers experiences throughout the season for children and adults whose lives have been impacted by the likes of disability, illness, bereavement or other challenging circumstance.

Dream Fund experiences include our Behind The Scenes Dream Day at the Training Centre, Matchday Experiences, Dream Fund letters and much more.

Rachael Cosgrove, Charity Executive at the Foundation said:

“It is both humbling and rewarding to organise days like today on behalf of the Rangers Family and make sure our guests have this special experience when they are most in need of a boost.”
