Fairbridge

Fairbridge in Glasgow provides support and training to some of the city’s most vulnerable young people, dealing with issues such as homelessness, unemployment and problems at home and at school.

In season 2008/09 the Foundation raised £25,000 to fund new sports equipment for the charity, including canoes, kayaks and a trailer – adding an exciting and challenging new activity for young people at Fairbridge to experience. The funding also paid for a residential canoe course and part of a series of healthy living courses.

Fairbridge supports the development of young people using a unique programme which combines learning new life skills with challenging activities and one-to-one personal support throughout.
