Ready For Uni

Our Ready For Uni programme aims to support senior phase school pupils with aspirations of attending University. This course is designed to give participants information and experience to allow them to flourish when completing their senior studies.

Over three sessions attendees can ask the important questions that they have to volunteers with recent university experience. Each session a variety of topics will be covered including: student finance, clubs and societies, the UCAS application process, personal statement planning, academic registration and post graduate options.

A select pool of volunteers also talk about their own experiences of university both positive and negative to give attendees a realistic picture of what attending university is like. The three week course takes place at Glasgow University and is supplemented with tours of different departments of the campus.
