Organise Your Own Event

Organise your own event to help the Foundation.

Supporters across the country have raised thousands of pounds for the Rangers Charity Foundation by hosting a range of different events and fundraising activities, from dinner dances and raffles to darts nights, football matches and quiz nights.

Whether you know what you want to organise or need some inspiration we are here to help every step of the way.  No matter what kind of activity you decide to take on, every single pound you raise will help the Rangers Charity Foundation be there to make a difference to people who need us both in the local community, nationally and across the world!

Organising an event can be a great way to support charity and enjoy a fun day with friends and family at the same time.  Playing to your strengths when choosing an event ensures your fundraising will not only be successful but enjoyable too!  Supporters Steven and Gordon Boyle and Antony Sutherland are huge football fans and organised a charity Old Firm match amongst their friends to raise funds while Nikki Lockerby, who manages a café, used her venue to hold several charity curry nights, which became a big hit with her local community.

To say thank you, every single supporter who raises more than £150 for the Foundation from an event will automatically become a True Blue Hero and will be invited to a reception at Ibrox to receive a medal from a first team player!

Whether it is a high energy zumbathon, a race night or a small BBQ with friends, anything goes when it comes to fundraising activities.  Here are a few ideas to get you started –
