Women’s Fit Fans – Sign Up and Lose Weight!
Tue 22nd August 2017
The Rangers Charity Foundation is hosting new Football Fans in Training courses next month, especially designed for women who want to improve their lifestyle by learning the tools to effective weight management.
The women’s 12-week programme will see participants take part in one weekly training session, overseen by trained Rangers coaches.
By the time of completion, participants will be fully educated on nutrition, exercise, weight management and well-being, which will set them up to continue building on the results of the programme.
In order to take part you must meet one of the following three criteria:
• BMI of 27+
• Belly of 99cm+
• Trouser waist of 37 inches+
65 people took part earlier in the year and lost a combined total of 59 lbs 5 oz! Lorraine McNamara was just one of many success stories, losing four stones, but there are dozens more who have gone away with renewed confidence and the knowledge of how to maintain a healthy balance despite hectic schedules.
Senior Community Executive Jordan Boyd emphasised the impact the programme has had on the lifestyles of the women who have taken part. He said: “This is a great opportunity for people who want to kick-start a change in their health and fitness. The results of the previous groups have been astonishing and we have had great feedback from virtually every participant.
“If anyone is nervous about the prospect of signing up, they don’t need to be. Our coaches will give you the tools to carry on with the inevitable improvements the programme brings, while there is a great camaraderie generated as the weeks go by as everyone is pushing towards the same goal.”
