Veterans, carers, the homeless and young people are just some of the groups who have benefitted from the Foundation’s donation of over 700 match tickets for pre-season friendly games at Ibrox.

Organisations such as Barnardos, Help For Heroes, Glasgow Women’s Aid and the Salvation Army were delighted to receive briefs for pre-season matches at Ibrox to give their service users an enjoyable day out they would otherwise have been unable to experience.

Thanks to the generosity of the Club, the Rangers Charity Foundation was able to offer this opportunity to so many individuals, community groups and good causes.

Lauren Quinn from Harmeny Education Trust said:

“I just wanted to thank you so much for the tickets.  I have spoken to a few of the children who attended and they are still buzzing about it!”

Liam McGowan from youth support charity Includem added: 

“Just to say thanks very much for the tickets at the weekend, the young people I had with me had a really good time and were very thankful for the opportunity to go along.”

Other organisations which benefitted included Turning Point Scotland, the Beatson, Touched By Suicide, Quarriers and Glasgow City Mission.

Fans can also get involved in The Foundation’s Tickets for Good scheme which allows Rangers supporters to buy match tickets to be donated to people deserving of a special day out such as veterans, carers and those from community groups and other good causes.  Tickets are now available for supporters to buy priced just £5 HERE.
