Volunteers Needed for Armed Forces Day

Fri 1st September 2017

The Rangers Charity Foundation is looking for people to show their support for the Armed Forces by volunteering to collect donations from fans attending Rangers next home game on Saturday 9 September.

The match against Dundee is the annual Armed Forces Day at Ibrox with representatives from the Army, RAF and Royal Navy taking part in activities on the day.

A pre-match collection has been organised in aid of the Rangers Charity Foundation’s Armed Forces Partnership and the Foundation is looking for volunteers to shake buckets and ask fans attending to donate what they can.

The Armed Forces Partnership for Season 2017/18 is made up of three services related charities which will be announced next week in the run up to the game.

Volunteers need to be able to arrive at the Stadium by 1pm on the matchday and would be required to collect donations up until kick-off.

To offer your help as a volunteer please call the Foundation on 0141 580 8775 or email rangerscharity@rangers.co.uk as soon as possible.
