Thank You To Our True Blue Heroes

Sun 18th February 2018

Over 250 Rangers fans who have raised thousands of pounds between them for the Rangers Charity Foundation were honoured at Ibrox recently.

Three True Blue Hero ceremonies were organised to say thank you to supporters who raised over £100 each for the Foundation by taking on a personal challenge.

Many of the guests had survived the cold of the Big Ibrox Sleep Out, some had pedalled their way through the Spinathon challenge, while others had organised their own events or had taken part in those such as the Great Scottish Run.

Regardless of how they completed their personal challenge, each was treated to a meal in the Ibrox Suite and received a True Blue Hero medal and pin badge from First Team players Greg Docherty, Declan John or Sean Goss.

“We are very grateful to everyone who raises funds on our behalf via a personal challenge,” commented Foundation Director Connal Cochrane.

“The True Blue Hero receptions are our way of saying thank you to our supporters and to give them an insight into the difference their contribution makes to the Foundation and to our charity partners.

“This season 311 True Blue Heroes have raised a combined total of over £90,000. This money not only helps support our own life-changing programmes but also those of our charity partners.”
