ADDITIONAL Play On The Pitch At Ibrox Match – SOLD OUT

Tue 24th April 2018

The Rangers Charity Foundation has added a third Play on the Pitch match after the original two games sold out in just over 24 hours!

Thirty places are now up for grabs in both the home and away teams for the match to be held at Ibrox on Saturday 12 May at 7.30pm.

Like the previous matches, which sold out in record time, it is first come first served, so be quick if you want to secure your place for this dream experience which will see you follow in the footsteps of legends such as Gascoigne, Laudrup and McCoist.

Players will enjoy a true First Team matchday experience from start to finish, beginning with entering Ibrox via the iconic Bill Struth Main Stand front door, getting changed in the official dressing rooms, running  down the tunnel onto the pitch, playing a 90-minute game with match officials, to having a drink in our players’ lounge afterwards.

To secure your place now simply fill out the form below or call us on 0141 580 8775. The cost to play is £275 with a £100 non-refundable deposit required when booking. The remainder can be paid right up until matchday on Saturday 12 May. Players can either choose to pay the fee themselves or fundraise. Those who fundraise an additional £100 on top of the match fee will qualify for a True Blue Hero Medal which will be presented by a Rangers First Team Player during a ceremony at Ibrox later in the year.

Players can pick their position and whether to play in the Home or Away side, with 15 spots available on each. Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis and are likely to sell out quickly. Each side will be made up of one goalkeeper, five defenders, five midfielders and four forwards. A starting 11 will be picked at random on the day for each team with a rolling substitution policy throughout the match. Rangers Community Coaches will be on hand throughout to help with warm-up, team selection and tactics.

Players will be presented with an official Rangers shirt from this season to keep and those in the Home side will change in the Home Dressing Room, with the Away side changing in the Away Dressing Room, which has been used by the likes of Lionel Messi, Ryan Giggs, Ronaldinho and Gianluigi Buffon on some of the great Ibrox European nights.

Guests of those playing are able to come and watch from the Main Stand and after the game a Man of the Match trophy will be awarded.

Players must be aged 16 or over and be fit and able to play a full game. Those taking part will also be required to provide their own shorts, socks, boots and shin guards.

The Rangers Charity Foundation is grateful to the Club for the opportunity to hold Play on the Pitch at Ibrox this season.
