Buy a Ticket For Good This Season and Support Your Foundation

Tue 22nd August 2017

Rangers and the Rangers Charity Foundation are once again offering fans the chance to take part in the innovative ticket scheme – Tickets for Good.

Tickets for Good allows Rangers supporters to buy match tickets to be donated to people who deserve a special day out at Ibrox such as veterans, carers, and those from community groups and other good causes.

For the second season in a row, the Club has made 2,000 tickets available for home league matches and has partnered with the Foundation to ensure that once tickets are bought by supporters they are passed on to deserving recipients.

Tickets for the 2017/18 season are available to buy now priced just £5 each. Supporters can buy them online using the link below or in person at the Rangers Ticket Office. When buying a ticket you can choose who you would like the ticket to be donated to – a veteran, a carer, a young person, someone affected by homelessness or anyone who needs the Foundation’s help.

By buying through Tickets for Good supporters will not only be giving people the chance to take in the special atmosphere at Ibrox on a matchday but you will also be helping support the Rangers Charity Foundation

Every penny from the sale of the tickets will be given to the Foundation meaning it could receive a £10,000 boost to help fund its work in the local community and to help vulnerable children around the world via its special partnership with Unicef.

Last season the Club, the Foundation and supporters helped create memories through Tickets for Good for so many people who may not have otherwise been able to attend a game and it’s hoped to be able to do so again this year, welcoming 2,000 people from a host of local worthwhile causes.

Rangers Managing Director Stewart Robertson said: “Together the Rangers Charity Foundation and the Club, with its strong charitable traditions, are a powerful force and we are delighted to once again offer supporters the opportunity to purchase match tickets through the Tickets for Good Scheme.

“We know Tickets for Good made a real difference to those who were given the chance to experience a match at Ibrox last season and to those who attended one of the programmes delivered by the Foundation in the local community.”

Foundation Director Connal Cochrane added: “We were blown away with the generosity of fans who purchased Tickets for Good last season and we were delighted with the feedback from those who received a ticket through the initiative.

“We heard from families, veterans, carers, youth groups and other organisations who told us what a great experience they had. One veteran told us he was reunited at a match with friends from his old battalion who he hadn’t seen for a number of years.

“The Rangers Charity Foundation is proud to be a force for good on behalf of the Rangers Family and we are looking forward to an exciting season and hope that Tickets for Good will once again capture the imagination of our supporters who have shown time and time again that their charitable spirit is second to none.”

TICKETS FOR GOOD ARE AVAILABLE TO BUY ONLINE NOW BY CLICKING HERE OR BY VISITING THE RANGERS TICKET CENTRE IN PERSON.

Every supporter who buys a Ticket for Good will receive a message of thanks from the Rangers Charity Foundation following their purchase and then a follow up message to let them know which game their tickets were used for along with examples of the people and causes which benefited from their generous gesture.

Unlike usual ticket purchases, no physical tickets will be sent out because any tickets bought will then be provided by the Club to the Rangers Charity Foundation for onward donation to a range of local causes.

In addition, thanks to online ticketing provider Advanced who we have partnered with, there will be no cost associated with any purchase due to the special charitable nature of this scheme.
