Big Ibrox Sleep Outs 2017
Event Date: Fri 1st December 2017
Please note the Big Ibrox Sleep Out on Friday 1 December is now full. There are still spaces available on Thursday 30 November - Click here to book.
Join the Rangers Charity Foundation to raise money for the Foundation and our homelessness partners by spending a cold winter’s night at Ibrox Stadium with just a sleeping bag for warmth.
Following the huge success of last year’s Big Ibrox Sleep Outs in support of Glasgow City Mission and Simon Community Scotland we are holding two more Sleep Outs this season on Thursday 30 November and Friday 1 December.
The events will highlight the issue of homelessness and raise funds for the Foundation and this season’s projects once again with Simon Community Scotland and Glasgow City Mission.
For the second year running, the Foundation is delighted to announce that Rangers kit sponsor 32Red has pledged its generous support to the Foundation and to every fan taking part in the Sleep Outs.
The online betting company will once again kick-start every participant’s fundraising by donating their first £10 of sponsorship and will sponsor the fantastic hot breakfast provided for everyone in the morning after the event.
32Red Chief Commercial Officer Matt Booth said: “At 32Red we are very proud of our association with the Rangers Charity Foundation and the success of last year’s Big Ibrox Sleep Out event. We are once again delighted to continue our support to raise money for the Foundation and their charity partners.
“The fans at Rangers supported the cause in great numbers last year and we hope they will again this year, to raise awareness about homelessness. All of us at 32Red wish the fans good luck for their night under the stars.”
Sleep Outs' participants will spend the night at Ibrox either on the technical area pitch-side or in the stand (under cover) if the weather is wet and will get a small glimpse of the nightly conditions experienced by people in our city who are street homeless.
A registration fee of £20 per person is applicable and fans taking part in the Sleep Outs will be asked to bring along warm clothing and a sleeping bag.
Every participant is asked to raise a minimum of £100 to join the Big Sleep Out and by doing so will also become a True Blue Hero and be invited to a special reception to receive a True Blue Hero medal from a Rangers first team player next year.
