Lifelong Rangers fan David Smith undertook a truly marathon challenge on behalf of the Rangers Charity Foundation and the MS Society by running from Kirkintilloch to Ibrox Stadium and back again for every home league match in season 2017/18!
This amazing challenge required David to run a marathon per home league game – a total of 19 over the course of the season!
David, a founder member of the Bournemouth & Poole RSC, is now back living in Scotland and decided to leave from Kirkintilloch RSC before each home game, arriving at the Stadium for every match in his Rangers Charity Foundation vest.
"I did the challenge as my wife Jennie was diagnosed with relapsing and remitting MS in 2008,” he explained.
“I want a cure for this terrible disease and I wanted to help the many wonderful causes the Rangers Charity Foundation is involved with."
